* Two written tasks must be sent to IB:
one Written Task 1 and one Written Task 2. Furthermore, one of those must be from either Part 1 or 2 (the “language” portion of the course, and the other from either Part 3 or 4 (the “literature” portion of the course. Practically speaking for Glenforest purposes, students will send one Grade 11 written task and one grade 12 written task (from part 4). Within these parameters, it is their choice what to send (and hence count for their Grade 12 second semester marks).
It can be seen from the above that the single focus/critical thing for everyone in second semester grade 12 is the exams – first the two mocks in March (critical for final Ontario grades/PG for the course) and then the “real” IB exams in May (critical for final IB results.) The teacher will help the students prepare for (and be confident about) these exams!
